My Items for Sale

Welcome to my Items for Sale website.  Just as the name says, this is the place to find the items I've decided to sell off as a way to make some extra money.  Everybody is already complaining about the economy, and that doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot of good, so I figured I'd try a different approach and work on getting some of my stuff online and up for sale.

The truth is, I used to do a lot of eBay selling and as part of that, I purchased tons of estate merchandise that included things like collectibles, books, clothing, postcards...the list goes on and on, really.  My wife and I both work full time though and I've sort of let the listing and selling of things slide as I went to work and tended to the typical day to day family matters.  If you have kids, it might sound familiar.  We've got three kids between the ages of two and eleven, so we run around a lot getting them places.

I've got a wonderful family that I love spending time with, but I've decided that I've just got to get this stuff listed.  I've got a few reasons but it can pretty much be summed up by saying that we could use the money more than the collectibles and such (who couldn't?) and I'm tired of looking at all of the estate sale stuff I've got stored everywhere.

I have a store on eBay, so that helps, but the problem is getting my items seen.  A lot of the stuff I have is hard to find or even one of a kind merchandise.  Running week long listings just isn't enough sometimes, so I've started to use store listings.  They don't get seen as often on eBay as traditional listings do, to be honest with you.  I figured I'd set up a nice little site (this one) to showcase what I've got for sale.  My hope is to find some people searching the Internet looking for what I've got.  That's the trick...getting seen.  If you like my site, I hope you'll tell someone about it or throw me a link from your own site.  That would be much appreciated.

If you are looking for used items for sale, I should have you covered once my site builds up a bit.  Because I'm hoping that my items will actually get sold, I'll also include some listings of similar items listed on eBay with each of my items when they are available.  That way, I'm hoping that I won't have any disappointed visitors to my site.

So what kinds of items can you expect to find here?  Well, I've got boxes upon boxes of things and really, I can't even remember all of what I've bought.  If you like to go to garage sales, yard sales, estate sales or auctions, you might find something you like.  I know there is vintage clothing, antique books, various collectible items too numerous to mention individually, sports memorabilia, and lots of other items.  In the past I've done pretty well when I've had military items for sale.  One of the neatest things I found was an original WWII flight manual for a Mustang.  I also found a postcard mailed by a gentleman who boarded the Titanic right after he mailed it.  That kind of stuff is actually what got me hooked on buying up bunches of estate merchandise, but I ended up with so much that it has become an inconvenience.  I hope someone can use the items for sale that I'll be listing.  If there is anything in particular that you are looking for, please drop me a line using the contact form.  Listing wanted items for sale will help me to get things moved along that much quicker!  I hope you find something you like.  If you want, you can also jump directly to my eBay store by going to an Auctiva site that I set up.  You can find my auctiva store located at www.vintagestuffforsale.com
